What is the Jungian approach?

The Jungian approach (named after its founder, Carl Gustav Jung) places inner transformation at the heart of psychological work. It is based on the principle that psychic suffering arises from a disunion between the conscious mind and the depths of the unconscious. To heal this fracture, the individual embarks on a journey of individuation—a process of dialogue and synthesis with previously unknown parts of the psyche. By integrating these opposing elements (which carry immense potential), the individual moves away from a fragmented existence toward a more coherent and unified psychic life.

This approach is resolutely focused on the uniqueness of the individual rather than on conformity to collective norms. For this reason, it extends beyond simple symptom management or superficial adjustments to the outside world. Therapeutic work involves tapping into the latent resources that reside within each person. Accessing these inner forces allows the individual to overcome their habitual limitations and discover their true authenticity.

The therapeutic process

In practice, my role is to accompany you in a dialogue that unfolds on two distinct fronts: your daily, lived reality—and the deeper, underlying reality of your unconscious. Depending on your needs and sensitivity, we may invite dreams, creative expression, or active imagination into the heart of our exchanges. These tools are not ends in themselves, but means of building a bridge toward your inner resources. There is no standard path: as a psychologist, I adapt to the singularity of your personality and the nature of the challenges you face. Each therapeutic journey is thus a unique, tailor-made experience that unfolds at your own pace.

The first session is a time for exchange, allowing us to review your situation and lay the foundations for our collaboration. It is through this initial meeting that we will define the frequency of our sessions and establish the climate of trust necessary for any lasting change. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, a sense of solitude, a lack of self-confidence, or an existential crisis, every difficulty is welcomed as a call for transformation. I hold a deep conviction that behind every crisis lies a potential for meaning and renewal.
